Success Story of the Day

From Jason Lee Middle School - Vanco

There was a special girl who started at Jason Lee Middle School in Vancouver, WA as a quiet and shy 6th grader. As an 8th grader, she had become a very friendly and out-going young lady. She participated in every sport that was offered at the school and made many friends and gained the respect of the coaches and other staff members. She might not have been the fastest runner or gained the highest points in a game, but she always encouraged others to do their best. With the financial help of the Haas Foundation she was able to make new friends by participating in athletics. Hopefully, she will continue her athletic activities in high school.
